Ruth supervises all tax work but is not available until after 10am Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. She is however pretty busy most of the time.

Mike works for the business as Ruth's Personal Secretary, typing, filing and answering the telephone. As well as this he looks after computers, software when James isn't there and much of the administration side of the company. He also adminsters accounts, annual returns and filing by internet to Companies House

Helen is a tax specialist having spent 20 years working with accountants and accompanies this role with that of Mum. Helen for the main part will be in on Monday and Friday mornings but can contact you at othertimes by arrangement.

Belinda is a Chartered Accountant, returning to the world of work after a break to look after her young children. Currently she works most weekday mornings until 12:30. Belinda supervises preparation of accounts as well as working directly with records to produce your accounts.

Thirty years working for the Inland Revenue has left no obvious mark. Now Arthur spends his time in calm contemplation, drifting peacefully between narrowboats, ceilidh bands and, very occassionally, the completion of your tax returns. Between holidays he is in the office 9-4 Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Lesley is a greenie, tree hugger, conservationist and animal lover. She loves love Born Free and adopts 1 or 2 lions/leopards every year. She dreams of working at the Born Free Foundation. Lesley has joined us as our general assistant to get us more organised daily. She will be with us from 1 - 5 Monday to Friday.

Tina used to work for us in the early days and has now come back to do Ruth's typing on a Monday. Tuesday to Friday she is the kingpin in Read Law's Probate Dept. She now lives in Buxton and generally manages to get in come snow or ice. Road conditions can be pretty difficult in the winter too.

Clair is a mum first, and a Chartered Management Accountant second. She works from home growing vegetables, and baking, and occassionally prepares VAT returns and accounts for us.

Iain runs Cabsys Ltd which prepares Payroll, VAT Returns and Accounts. We have several joint clients and have worked together now for many years. From 2010, Iain is taking over all your payrolls.

Peter is our expert and we run to him for help frequently. He is also Revenue trained but got higher up the tree than Ruth. Peter now also deals with all of our Inland Revenue Investigations and a few of our clients have cause to be very grateful for his help.

Jane works from home and does bookkeeping for us and for our clients direct. She also provides help with paperwork for anyone who needs sorting out at home

Nick runs his own successful company, Alcazar Consulting Ltd and is a VAT Consultant. He was in HM Customs and Excise in a previous life but is better now. He is your man if you have any VAT questions or problems.

IT Support and Master of the Backup. Whilst at home and away he looks after our computers and ensures it all flows smoothly. Currently at Keele University studying for a PhD.
